Betting Tips: Remove Emotions For The Equation

sports-fan-crying

We are all guilty of breaking this very important rule. Problem is we are guilty of breaking it way too often. The human factor in wagering is one that has both saved me a ton of money and made me a ton of money. The emotions of an athlete, their mindsets and moods can play a huge factor in the outcome of games. If there are gamblers out there who refuse to take this rule into consideration you might as well go try your luck at a super casino.

REMEMBER YOUR OWN FEELINGS

Use yourself for example; how many times have you played a sport and were hindered by one factor or another? You have a nagging ankle sprain that just won’t heal, you were up with the baby last night and worked all day and have no energy to put forth. I am in no way saying those are things that athletes go through but similar results can apply with certain factors. For instance; a team is on a long road trip and is playing four games in six nights. How much energy do you thing that team will have? A death in an athlete’s family can either motivate a team beyond their capabilities or disable them, or a scandal that weighs in the locker room. How about a trade deadline when a star player is being mentioned in rumors? You don’t think it weighs on their performance? How would you feel if you went to work tomorrow and heard rumblings about your immediate employment? Would you be able to function at a high level?

STUDY ALL ASPECTS BEFORE WAGERING

There are many human emotions and feelings that come into play. It is of great benefit to take the time to study all these aspects, and there are many more than I’ve talked about. I like to use an NFL game as an example. In 2003 Brett Favre played one day after the passing of his father and played arguably the best game of his career. I can almost guarantee you what fueled him that game. These are the little things you will not find on any betting tips websites, but can help just as much.
